Sentenced to death in 1952 and hanged in 1953. After 46 years, his family finally got Derek the pardon he deserves. He is no longer considered a murderer in the eyes of Queen and country.

Summary

19-year-old Derek Bentley went out with his friend, 16-year-old Christopher Craig to commit burglary. Instead, Craig shoots and kills Patrol Constable Sidney Mills before both boys were apprehended. Because Craig was a minor, he received prison time. However, Derek was considered an adult and he was found guilty by a court of law. The problem was...the evidence used to convict him was questionable at best.
